She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Elizabeth Jones; and her former husband Walter James Bale (Jim). She is survived by: her significant other Norman Bucher; her children, Lorraine Bale (Shawn Hauser), Stuart Bale (Joan) and Graham Bale (Heidi); her stepdaughter Greta Bucher (Will Dial); her grandchildren, Brandon, Jillian (Treves), Andrea (Kevin), Adam (Jacque), Justin (Matt), Kyle (Hannah), Erin (Cody), Rebecca and John; and her great grandchildren, Nick, Jackson, Jamie, Joey, Mason, Lucas and Remy.
