She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Farone (Abbatiello) and Joseph T. Farone; her stepmother Claudette Farone (Geraci); and her brother Joseph D. Farone. She is survived by: her husband Barry Stephenson; her daughters, Tina O'Sullivan, Angie Sousa and Amy Hill; and her grandchildren, Trevor, Cory, Colin, Meghan, Julia and Ethan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in Cathy's memory.
