He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah; his stepdaughter Karen Pardieck; his parents, John Dilgard and Beulah Dilgard; and his siblings, Betty Keener, Ruth Hall and Richard Dilgard.

He is survived by: his children, Ann Lawson, Linda Dew and Donald Dilgard; and his stepdaughter Joyce Beck.
