He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Deaton and Dorothy Deaton. He is survived by: his sister Angel Deaton; his wife Chong Deaton; his children, Essie Smith (Jerry), Jolene Smith, Joshua Deaton and James Deaton; his grandchildren, Nathan Smith (Danielle), Whitney Mullins (Caleb Palmer), Kyle Smith (McKayla), Taylor Deaton, Billy Barrett (Blake) and Jake Smith; his great grandchildren, Hunter Mullins, Tucker Smith, Natalie Palmer, Tate Smith, James Tate, Bentley Zinn, Harlyn Smith and Willow Jacobs; and his siblings, Ray, Gary Deaton and Connie Rajeski. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
