He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Bunnell and William Bunnell; and his siblings, Bill Bunnell, Rosemary Lautenslager (Bunnell) and Bob Bunnell.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; and his children, Bethany Bunnell (Mark Schmidt), Christine Bunnell and Donald Bunnell (Mitty Lie). He is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Otterbein Lebanon Benevolent Care Fund or Hospice of Cincinnati.
