He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Bishop and Lucy Bishop; his wife Carolyn Cammack Bishop; his parents-in-law, English Cammack and Emma "Kate" Cammack; and his siblings, Beatrice "Bea" Poynter and Earnest Bishop.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly "Kim" Bishop, Timothy "Tim" Bishop and Melissa "Missy" Eddy (Alexis "Alex"); his grandchildren, Lauren Gilmer (Graham), Alexis "Lexi" Eddy (Shelby), Alexander "Alex" Moushey, Lukas Eddy, Benjamin "Ben" Moushey and Samuel "Sam" Moushey; his great grandchildren, Theodore "Teddy" Gilmer, Reese Gilmer and Sheila Ertel Bowman; his siblings, James "Jim" Bishop (Chris), Doris Cupp and Wilma Sue Brown; his siblings-in-law, Mike Cammack (Pamela "Pam") and Jerry Cammack (Patricia "Patty"); Greg Bowman (Cathy), Michael "Mike" Bowman (Jennifer "Jenny") and Kevin Bowman (Kristin). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
