He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma F. Tipton; his son Keith Tipton; his parents, Edward Tipton and Mamie Tipton; his sisters, Thelma Hawk, Ona Dempsey and Mavis LeMaster; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Brown and Mary Tipton.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Kindell (Paul) and Kevin Tipton (Jennifer "Jen" Schott); his daughter-in-law Sherri Tipton; his grandchildren, Bethany Falter (David), Joshua Tipton (Samantha) and Jordan Tipton (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Melody and Hailey; and his siblings, Raymond (Gail), Bobby (Sandy), Silas Tipton and Peg Brown.
