He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Hazel; his siblings, Norman, Thomas, Timothy Weikert and Sunny Cooper; and his son-in-law Bill Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his children, Barry Gregg Weikert of Southgate, KY, Sandra Smith of Lebanon and Steven James Weikert of Richmond, VA; and his brother Jack Weikert (Lorene) of Brookville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
