John Edward Lummis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Lummis of Lebanon, Ohio, born in Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Doris; his wife Alice Darlene Lummis; his stepson Jon Emmel; and his sister Pam Mullen.

He is survived by: his daughters, Constance Ring of Cincinnati and Cynthia Johnson (Steven) of Lebanon; his stepsons, James Emmel of Everett, WA and James D. Kiser, Jr. (Kelly) of Davenport; and his siblings, James Lummis (Rikki) of Pinckney, MI, Thomas Lummis (Jeanie) of Duluth, MN, Robert Lummis (Debra) of Springboro, OH, William Lummis of Bradenton, FL and Joann Chesney of Miamisburg, OH. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
