He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Ellen Smith; and his sister Rebecca Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Smith of Lebanon; his children, Jeff Smith (Julia) of Elida, OH and Amanda Gemperline (Chris) of Monroe, OH; his brother Jay Smith of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Conner, Evan Smith, Clara and Ellen Gemperline.
