He was predeceased by: his former wife Hazel Bowles; his parents, Walter Roberts and Jessie Roberts; his siblings, Opal Hauser, Virginia Campbell, Doris Howard, Kenneth and Donnie Roberts; and his stepgrandson Eli Nardi.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Sanford Clark (Sanford-Clark); his children, Deborah Clark (Ritchie), Teresa Roberts and Raymond Roberts Jr.; his grandchildren, Casey Rae, Corey, MaKenzie and Ashleigh Roberts; his great grandchildren, Adrian, Kalynn, Lane, Waylon, Cash and Evander; his sister Margaret Pennington; his stepdaughters, Charnelle Bees (Vince), Allison Howard (Tommy) and Katie Agenbroad (Steve); and his stepgrandchildren, Charla, Zoe Bees, Johnathon, Thomson Howard, Lily and Daisy Agenbroad. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
