It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond M. Hines Sr. in Lebanon, Ohio, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Hines and Lena Hines (Childress); his son Raymond M. Hines, Jr.; and his siblings, Lillian, Roy, Jessie and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Hines (Rhymes); his children, Stanley Hines (Lori), Trent Hines (Helen), Tracee Powell (Tim) and Stacee Shadd; his grandchildren, Kyle Hines, Taylor Herzog (Noah), Samantha Shipman (Matthew), Courtney Wilson, Joshua Zugelder (Erin), Morgann Hines, Trevor Hines, Alexander Powell, Airron Powell, Marcus Parson-Shadd (Drew) and Raven Shadd; and his niece Frieda Demus (Clem). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Raymond.
