He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Calvin and Ruby Arlene Kuhns (Coup); his wife Barbara Jo Kuhns (Dye); and his brother Ralph Kuhns. He is survived by: his sons, John Kuhns (Krista) of Lebanon, Ohio and Matthew Kuhns (Angeleque) of Lake Oswego, Oregon; his stepdaughters, Cynthia Ann Gee (Patrick) of Birmingham, Alabama and Lisa Joy Pizzo of Las Vegas, Nevada; his siblings, H. Edwin Kuhns (Marty) of Ludlow Falls, Ohio, John Kuhns (Jojit) of Vandalia, Ohio, Marjorie Kuhns of Vandalia, Ohio, Ruby Bonham (Mike) of New Carlisle, Ohio and Deborah Rau (John) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and his great grandchild Katelynn McBride. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
