She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Short and Lenore Short; and her brothers, Chester, Lloyd, Eddie Short and Bertie.

She is survived by: her sons, Marty Roe (Robin) and Scott Roe (Leah); her siblings, Paul Short, Clyde Short, Tommy Short, Rebel Wisner and Betty Mullins; her grandchildren, Clayton Roe, Isabella Benjamin, Dylan Roe, Sarah Roe-Hall, Megan Owens and Lauren Owens; and her great grandchild Ada Benjamin.
