He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Viars; his children, Todd Viars (Brenda), Jennifer Viars, Marla Allen (Gary), Gina Wright (Tommy), Kelly Fain (Eric) and Kevin Vinson (Loraine); his grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Tyler Viars, Jacob Viars (Mary Ellen), Luke Viars (Dericka), Rachelle Vanlieu (Dallas), Kelsey Wilson (Jacob), Kaytlen Allen, Zach Pate (Rachel), Austin Pate (Sarah), Olivia Tiller (Daniel), Brittany Green, Emma Green (Brandon), Troy Green, Tanner Green and Adeline Fain; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Viars, Everett Viars, Rowan Viars, Riley Viars, Ridgely Viars, Trevor Nickell, Raelynn Vanlieu, Elijah Vanlieu, Jesse Vanlieu, Sunny Wilson, Langston Pate, Lainey Pate, Jaxson Roy Pate, Caden Pate, Kinsley Daniel, Remington Daniel, Rocky Edison and Lorelai Edison; his sister Janice Whisler (Don); and his sister-in-law Marcia Bishop. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stubbs - Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068).
