He is survived by: his wife Peggy Short; his children, Aaron Short (Barb), Gina Short, Bruce Wolfe and Shauna Brown (Jon); his sister Sandy Smallwood (Jim); his grandchildren, Rhea, Adam, Jacob, Jared, Mya, Landen and Maddie; and his great grandchildren, Knox, Neyland and Josephine. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
