He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Florence Rachel; and his brother Steve Mapes. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Charles Mapes, Shellie Harris (Rendell), DeeDee Schebor and Ineke Carmichael (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Justin, Darrin and Ryan.
