He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Kairn; his son James Clay "Jamie" Marshall; his great grandchild Kevin Marshall; and his siblings, Alex Marshall and Polly McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Marshall; his children, Ricky Dale Marshall, David Ray Marshall (Rachel), William Wayne Marshall (Carrie) and Sandy Herrington; and his brother Charles Johnson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
