He is survived by: his wife Karen Eberg (Hansen); his daughter Gretchen Wright (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Zachary Grimes, Sierra Mills (Skylar) and Savannah Self (David); and his great grandchild Liara Grimes.

In addition to his contributions to music, Harvey served his country honorably in the United States Army.
