He is survived by: his wife Raquel Rodriguez; his children, Michelle Valdez of Leipsic, Janice Valdez of Leipsic, Ben Valdez, Jr. of Youngstown and James Valdez (Sherry) of Leipsic; his grandchildren, Terrill Murriel Jr., Ariel Eagleson (Jason), Gabriel Medina-Panell, Zoe Valdez, Miles Valdez, Mia Valdez and Morgan Valdez; his great grandchildren, Maverick Valdez and Melanie Eagleson; and his siblings, Ricardo Valdez of San Antonio, TX, Merced Valdez, Jr. of Edcouch, TX, Graciela Loyo of Monterey and Julie Valdez Garcia of Edinburg, TX..
