With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith E. Schroeder of Leipsic, Ohio, born in Glandorf, Ohio, who passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Geckle and Velma Geckle (Seimet); her husband Ronald W. Schroeder; her grandsons, Nathan J. Schroeder and Ryan W. Schroeder; her brother Lavern Geckle; and her siblings-in-law, Bernadette, George Burke, Cletus, Viola Schroeder, James "Jake", Clara Schroeder, Guido, Anna Schroeder, Saturnius "Barney", Mary Schroeder, Hyacinth "Jack", Luella Schroeder, Geneva, Joe Snyder, Colletta, Harold Niese, Dennis J. Schroeder, Valen, Rose Schroeder, Justin "Jud" and Mary C. "Kate" Schroeder.
She is survived by : her children, Kevin Schroeder (Jackie) of Leipsic, Martin Schroeder (Jodi) of Ottawa, Elaine Whaley (Tony) of Leipsic, Larry Schroeder (Tammy) of Leipsic, Deborah Schnipke (Tim) of Kalida, Scott Schroeder (Mary) of Leipsic and Michelle Stechschulte (Steve) of Ottawa. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic School or Church, Putnam County Home Care and Hospice.
