She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schmenk and Loretta Schmenk (Weis); her husband Eugene D. "Geno" Niese; her son Steven Deb Niese of Leipsic; her granddaughter Emma Niese; and her sister Mary Ann Recker (Eugene).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Meyer (Robert) of Oak Harbor, Sue McDaniel (Punky) of Leipsic, Michael Niese (Kathryn) of Ottawa, Catherine Fortman (John) of Ottawa, Mark Niese (Christine) of Leipsic, Mary Jo Bodart (Joe) of Lexington, KY, Patty Giesken (Tom) of Ottawa, Julie Breece (Bernie) of Ottawa, Dale Niese (Jodi) of Leipsic, Dorothy Lammers (Terry) of Leipsic, Christine Chapman (Alex) of Orient and Roger Niese (Georgette) of Leipsic; and her siblings, Herman Schmenk (Rita) of New Cleveland, Angela Goedde (Norman) of Leipsic, Alice Recker (John) of Ottawa and Joseph Schmenk of Venice, FL.. She is also survived by 67 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
