He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schroeder and Lucille Schroeder (Laubenthal); and his brothers, Dave Schroeder (Marlene), Howard Schroeder and Bill Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Sell; his children, Zach Schroeder (Katie) of Findlay and Megan Ellerbrock (Nathan) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Andersyn Schroeder, Eleanor Schroeder, Nora Ellerbrock, Nolan Ellerbrock and Eden Ellerbrock; his siblings, Les Schroeder (Ginny) and Nancy Walther; and his sister-in-law Nancy Schroeder.
