Richard Hiegel Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 8, 2025, at the age of 92, Richard Hiegel of Leipsic, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hiegel and Martha Hiegel (Stoup); and his siblings, Paul Hiegel, Chuck Hiegel (Janet) and Janice Osborne (Dean).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Buzard; his sons, Craig Hiegel (Vicki) of Ottawa and Mitch Hiegel (Jule "Tood") of Leipsic; his grandchildren, Brennan Hiegel (Kelsey), Taylor Honigford (Isaac), Jackie Hiegel, Tasha Knueven (Jeff) and Heather Vasquez; his brother Tom Hiegel (Sandy) of Dayton; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Hiegel of Leipsic. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
