William Nelson Heavener Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Nelson Heavener in Lewis Center, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Inecia Heavener and Russell Heavener; his wife Nancy Heavener (Myers); his son Rusty; and his siblings, Gerald, Jimmy, Wanda and Virginia.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Heavener (Michael) of Lewis Center and Vickie Heavener of Powell, Ohio; his grandsons, Nathan Rehm (Emily) and Garrett Wright (Madelyn); his great grandchildren, Camdyn and Bennett Rehm; and his siblings, Ed Heavener (Karen), Leon Heavener (Cathy), Charlie Heavener (Gayle), Norma Nicholson and Carol King (Bill). He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org, in Nelson's honor, a cause he faithfully supported for many years.
