He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Smith and Joyce Smith (Crews). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Smith (Dyer); his children, Brittany N. Bowling (Bradley), Leslie J. Smith (Jon Weaver), Jessica L. Sharrett (Matthew), Aaron Ray Smith, II, Michael B. Loranzan (Macy), Isabell Cohn (Satterthwaite), Jasmine R. Satterthwaite (Sita Collins), Nick J. Satterthwaite (Tiffeni Smith) and Sammie Jo Ramsey; his siblings, Anita Barker, Teresa Dooley (Mark), Renee Woods (Scott) and Phillip Smith (Kathy); his parents-in-law, C. Ray and Marilyn R. Dyer (Miller); his friend Mark Heindl; his grandchildren, Allison, Hannah, Hunter, Brooklyn, Christian, Ava, Liam, Landon, Lucy, Braxton, Luka, Lincoln, Owen, Jackson, Oliver, Genesis, Hezekiah, Leviticus, Hadassah, Gabby, Masen, Luca and Rosalina; and his nephew Wyatt Sievers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
