He was predeceased by: his brother Brad Lee Gunder; and his father-in-law Paul M. Maxel. He is survived by: his wife Laura M. Gunder (Maxel); his children, Cole Gunder, Lane Gunder and Sage Gunder; his parents, Gerald Gunder and Barbara Gunder (Fannin); his mother-in-law Zelda M. Maxel (Davis); his siblings, Marc Gunder (Lee), Cynthia Summers (David) and Beth Anne Gunder (Rick Van Camp); his siblings-in-law, Eric M. Maxel (Melanie Meyer) and Von M. Maxel (Lora M.); and his grandchildren, Adalynn and Myla. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 10816 Verona Rd, Lewisburg, OH 45338. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Sugar Grove Cemetery (1991 OH-503, West Alexandria, OH 45381).
