He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Virginia Vanscoy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Diane Holmes Johnson; his sons, John Jr. Johnson (Shelly) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Rick Johnson (Jen) of Monroe, Ohio; his brother Willard "Bud" Biller (Darlene) of Akron, Ohio; and his grandsons, Andrew Johnson and Josh Johnson.
