He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Barnett; his parents, Clinton Barnett and Betty Barnett; and his siblings, Eugene (Cynthia), Jerrold, Robert "Bob" and Sharon Kaye.
He is survived by: his children, Shelby Lee Barnett (Missy), Jason Charles Whitaker, Nikki (Scott), Misty, Rachel (Jeff) and Elaine (Bill); his grandchildren, Cassie, Justin, Kaleb, Brennen, Molly, Bailey, Tara, Bree, Alyssa, Jeffrey, Chloe, Dylan and Paige; and his siblings, Steve, Ronnie, Sandra (Carl), Vicki (Danny), Mary (Greg) and Judy.
