We announce the death of Wanda Faye Smith (Liberty Township, Ohio), who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 84. Wanda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hacker and Effie Hacker; her husband Delmer Smith; her son Delmer Smith Jr.; and her siblings, Glenna Jordan, Eileen Jordan, Claiborne Hacker and Harold Hacker.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Diane Woodruff (Van) and David Michael Smith (Marty); her daughter-in-law Adina Lynn Smith; and her siblings, Patricia Dunn (Larry), Henrietta Browning (Gary), Bill Hacker (Pat) and R. V. Hacker (Lala). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Living Word Missionary Baptist Church (8369 Princeton Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
