Amelia Ann Buettner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2025, at the age of 90, Amelia Ann Buettner (Lima, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Hittle and Helen M. Hittle (Rott); her husband Ellis Gene Buettner; her sister Isabelle Ott (Hittle); her brother-in-law Donald Ott; her brother John Hittle (Patricia); and her siblings-in-law, Donald J. Buettner (Anna), Thomas Buettner, George Buettner (Delores), Robert Halliwill, Dorothy Miller (Buettner) and Richard Buettner.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Buettner (Tammy) of Lima, Susan Stiles (John) of Lima, David Buettner (Debbie) of Lima and Donald Buettner of Fort Wayne; and her sisters-in-law, Irma Buettner of Delphos, Lois Halliwill (Buettner) of California, Edna Feathers (John) of Wyoming and Carol Buettner of Delphos. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Community Church (4359 Allentown Rd, Lima, OH 45807). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilot Dogs, Inc. of Columbus (in memo, write "In memory of Amelia (Amy) Buettner"), or to Focus on the Family (in memo: "Adventures in Odyssey").
