Ava G. Armstead Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ava G. Armstead of Lima, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 15. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather Michael Carpenter. She is survived by: her parents, Shaun Armstead (Ashley) of Lima and Kelly Thirkill (Carpenter) of Lima; her grandparents, Charles Armstead of Defiance, Juanita Armstead of Lima and Carol Carpenter of Delphos; her siblings, Caden Armstead of Lima, DeAsia Armstead of Lima, Emily Smith of Lima, Alicia of Ottawa and Alexis Thirkill of Ottawa; her nieces, Alajha of Lima and Ainsley Armstead of Lima; and her pet Archie. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gerard Catholic Church (240 W Robb Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
