Barbara Jean Shoemaker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Shoemaker (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur II and Goldia Grafton II (Jewell); her husband Carroll L. Shoemaker; her children, Steven L. Shoemaker and Kristen L. Shoemaker; her sister Nancy Maureen Grafton; and her siblings-in-law, Faye Howell, Virginia Lane, Adrian Shoemaker and Raymond Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Sue Peggs (Daniel) of Troy, MO, Julie Ann Pantello (Mark) of Lima and Lisa Kay Cogley (Gregory) of Lima; her grandchildren, Rob Peggs (Christie), Scott Peggs (Emily), Eric Peggs (Sara), Matthew Bucher (Jaime), Nathaniel Bucher (Angelique), Adam Good (Linsey Koenig), Elliott Good (Jessica), Meagan Hudson (David), Michael Pantello, Tony Pantello, Nicole Moor (Joe), Amanda Cogley (Betsy Hone), Renee Cogley (Emily Derr), Jordan Lackey (Joseph), Jenna Houston (Seth Collins), Abbigail Houston, Sean Houston, Gabriel Butler and Gavin Butler; her great grandchildren, Briahna, Cale, Cole, Ethan, Evan, Elliott, Daniel, Drew, Ryan, Luke, Tatum, Miles, Greenlee, Claire, Avery, Maya, Emery, Hadley, Quinn, Mariyah, Ariana, Selena, Cameila, Ava, Thayer, Tinley, Truett, Barrett and Conley; her great great grandchild Jaxon; her brother Arthur Grafton, III (Carole); her sister-in-law Betty Wilkes; her cousin Thomas R. Jewell; and also Joe Bakies. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
