Beverly A. Gibbs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly A. Gibbs of Lima, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hord and Eva Ernest (Shaw); her former husband William "Bill" Turner; her children, Cynthia Setty and Christopher Gibbs; her siblings, Jacqueline Versprille, Karen Harmon, Bob Dixon and Norman Dixon; her brother-in-law Marvin Gibbs; and her grandchildren, Christopher Masse and Alyssa Jolliff.
She is survived by: her husband George W. Gibbs of Lima, OH; and her children, Michele Masse of Lakeland, FL, Brenda Fetter (Stephen) of Lima, OH, Kevin Turner of Centerville, OH, Douglas Gibbs (Catherine) of Lutherville, GA and Angela Foust (Gale Davis) of Elida, OH. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and forty two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chiles - Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the missions program at Lima Baptist Temple, 982 Brower Road, Lima, Ohio 45801.
