She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Shappell and Sally L. Shappell (Zerkel); and her sisters, Dawn Shappell and Kim Dearing. She is survived by: her daughter April D. Shappell; her siblings, Kevin J. Shappell (Carla) of Wapakoneta and Kendra Essex of Wapakoneta; and her grandchildren, Drayven and Destiny Shappell.
