He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zuppardo and Gentile Zuppardo (Taggi); his former wife Rosie Poling; his children, Charles A. Zuppardo, Jr. and Linda Zuppardo; and his brothers, James Zuppardo and Peter Zuppardo.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Ward Helser; his daughter Deborah Eggeman of Lima; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Helser of Lima, Jay Helser (Tracy) of Lima, Janice Finnerty of Ft. Myers, FL and Judy Podlesnik (Don) of Lima; and his brother Joseph Zuppardo (Bea) of Lima. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six step grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren; and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
