Charles W. Wakefield Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 74, Charles W. Wakefield (Lima, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles W. Wakefield to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman G. Wakefield and Emma Wakefield (Van den Houte); his brother Fred G. Wakefield; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Henry and Steve Ciminillo.
He is survived by: his spouse Joeyann Ciminillo; his sons, Jason Wakefield (Cora) of Canal Winchester and Benjamin Wakefield (Kelly) of Lima, Ohio; his sister Marjorie Henry of Florence; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Wakefield of Punta Gorda, Vickie Gallegos (Rick), Tony Ciminillo (Jenny), Nick Ciminillo, Mike Ciminillo and Bill Ciminillo; his cousin Patricia Hesslein of Brownfield, Maine; and his grandchildren, Barrett, Bexley, LilliAnn, Lucas and Thorvald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home (920 N Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to S.O.S Project or Shawnee Select Soccer Club.
