He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Floyd Phillips and Mary Louise Smith Phillips; and his brothers, Floyd Phillips and Billy Phillips. He is survived by: his sister Christine "Midget" Sealey of Russellville, Alabama; and his cousins, Jackie Robinson of Lima, Ohio, Ivy Allen (Bill) of Lima, Ohio and Terri Tisdale (Charles) of Lima, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
