He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gear and Teresa Gillenwater; his grandparents, Bill and Mary Ellen Gear; his aunt Janice S. Oliver; and his cousin Rodd Livesay.
He is survived by: his stepmother Mariam Gear; and his siblings, Donald Gear II, Chris Gear, Mary Ellen Gear, William Gear III, Sierra Gear Reeves, Mariam Gear Shady, Heather Gear Bradish and Harley Gear.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the County Line Church (4227 N Hardin Rd, Harrod, OH 45850). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
