He was predeceased by: his parents, Chauncey Rhodes and Mildred Rhodes (Goodell); his siblings, Chauncey Rhodes and Barbara Rhodes; and his stepsister Jane Henderson.

He is survived by: his wife Roberta M. Rhodes (Aune) of Lima, OH.; and his children, Lana Harmon (Dan) of Lima, OH, Carl Rhodes (Linda) of Detroit, MI, Jeffery Rhodes (Nancy) of Friendship, NY and Stacey Endlein (Patrick) of Brighton, MI. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
