He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Wilmot and Pauline Wilmot (Vandurza); his son-in-law Nathan Decker; his brother William "Bill" Decker (Mary); and his foster parents, Beulah Alman and Jimmie Alman.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Liz" A. Sexton (Cory) of Lima, Ohio, Johnathan D. Decker of Keystone Heights, Florida and Rachel E. Bladen (Sean) of Westerville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kaylia, Kristina, Joshua, Celsey, Taylor (Wilbert), Tony, Isabel and Abigail; and his siblings, Ron Decker (Sue), Betty Braun (Tom) and Carol Shirk (Roger). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
