We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2022, at the age of 82, Darrell D. Helms (Lima, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Burt" Helms and Treva Helms (Corbin); his son Kent Alan Helms; his grandson Robert Drew Helms; and his siblings, Lois Robinson (Robert), Pauline Dearwester (Harry), Colleen Helms and B. J. Helms.

He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Helms (Cross) of Lima, OH; his sons, Eric Helms (Deb) of Lafayette, OH and Darren Helms (DeEtte "Dee") of Delphos, OH; his grandchildren, Aleesha Miller (Matt), Aaron Helms, Logan Helms, Cole Helms, Kaleb Helms, Karlie Kirkendall (Kyle) and Karley Clevenger (Austin); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Caelynn, Oaklynn, Serenity, Ashten, Layton, Liam, Westen, Vincent, Myles, Weston and Layne; and his sister Betty Flarida (William). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Westside United Methodist Church.
