We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 68, Darryl Keith Taylor (Lima, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis P. Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Taylor (Gibson); his siblings, Susan Knotts (William), Karen Rister, Emily Bradley and Matthew Taylor; and his brother-in-law David Noble.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Taylor, Paula Noble and Paul Taylor (Shelly); his brother-in-law Gary Rister; his children, Jamie Taylor (Danielle), Shannon (Shane), Darryl Taylor, Samantha Boughan, Jackie Taylor (Bobby) and Cory Taylor (Jamie); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Ava, Alena, Lavada, Ali (Daryl), Cheyenne (Keaton), Seth (Megan), Maddie, Charlie, Brandon, Elaina, Joseph, Patrick, Charisty, Conner, Laken, Corbin, Lexi, Ashton, Gabe, Andrez (Paige), Dante (Maci), Jayden (Delaney) and Cierra (Charlie); his great grandchildren, Emery, Aubrey, Skylynn, Phoenix, Ember Lee and Oaklynn; his former wife Wendy Freytag; and his stepchildren, Audrianna Weisbrody (Sean) and Michael Bryant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home (920 N Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice.
