He was predeceased by : his father Roy Howard. He is survived by : his son David Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his mother Mary Jane (Martin); and his siblings, Carl Landis (Sandy), George Landis (Carol), Cheryl Cornich (Steve), Paul Landis (Karen) and Tom "Mike" Landis (Stacey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
