In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Schaaf and Gayle C. Schaaf (Polen); his brother Larry Schaaf; and his father-in-law Richard Luebrecht. He is survived by: his wife Lisa A. Luebrecht; his sons, Wayne Schaaf of Lima, OH and Christopher Schaaf of Lima, OH; his mother-in-law Judy Lubrecht of Wapakoneta, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Della Schaaf of St. Marys, OH, Rick Luebrecht of London, OH and Kathy Martin (Steve) of Wapakoneta, OH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miller Funeral Home (1605 Celina Rd, St Marys, OH 45885). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
