He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Florence (Chitman); and his brother Edward "Tugg" Florence. He is survived by: his father Edward Florence; his son Martrivis Burns; his grandchildren, Mariah Burns and Martrivis "MJ" Burns, Jr.; his siblings, Terry Lynn Florence, Nicole Olivia Florence, Maceo Valdez Florence, Jerrell Akeem Florence, Camille Ruth Shantell Florence, Stacee Eugenia Smart and Steve Von Smart; his aunt Shirley Chitman; and his brothers, Demetrius Shurelds and Keith Durr. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
