It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Claypool of Lima, Ohio, born in Delphos, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar C. Claypool and Vada S. Claypool (Richardson); his sister Juanita Vogt; his stepchildren, Rob Jorgensen and Julia A. Greeley; and his son-in-law John Poole.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Claypool (Houtz); his children, Rick D. Claypool, Christine R. Poole and Tracy Cox; and his stepchildren, Connie S. Mauch (Dave), Randy Jorgensen, Rolland L. Jorgensen, Gregory A. Brown and Kelly A. Gallant. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; over forty great-grandchildren; and some great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
