He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Florence and Mary Lee Florence (Chitman); and his close friend Jesse Commons. He is survived by : his children, Madison Kohler, Edward Timothy White and Markee Spaulding; his partner Vanesa White; his grandchildren, Samara, Keemarionna, Kemarion, Keemari'An, Keemarra, Zai'den, Le'Rae and Le'Zail; his siblings, Terry Lynn Florence, Dion Marcellus Florence, Nicole Olivia Florence, Maceo Valdez Florence, Jerrell Akeem Florence, Camille Ruth Shantell Florence, Stacee Eugenia Smart and Steve Vonn Smart; and his close friend Gregory Houston. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
