Grothjan of Lima, Ohio, born in Saint Marys, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verling V. Nelson and Esther H. Nelson (Klosterman); her husband Harry A. Grothjan; her great grandchild Nadia McDonald; her brother Charles Nelson (Mary); and her brother-in-law Bob Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Grothjan of Tulsa, OK, Karen Hower (Eric) of Lima, Jim Grothjan (Stephanie) of Cincinnati, Janice Lause (John) of Lima, Robert Grothjan of Lima and Nancy Sternad (Chris) of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Jason, Kirsten (Kurtis), Kayle, Stephen (Kim Kreuzman), Sarah (Jeff Krause), Evan, Brooke, Nickolas, Kyli, Bridget (Rockland), Bobby (Dannielle), Natalie and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kadyn, Khloe, Dominic, Sophia, Maddox, Greyson, Katelynn, Bobby, Joshua, Blake and Adalin; and her sisters, Linda Davis and Jeannie Grunden (Dick).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude's Hospital.
