She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Lawson and Pearl Vernie Lawson (Hawkins); her husband Robert "Bob" Martin; her siblings, Homer, Harold, Jack, Roy, Charles Lawson, Jr. and Estelle Morris; and her sister-in-law Vickie Lawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Lawson of Lima; her brother Dan Lawson of Lima; her grandchildren, Andre Chitman, Martrevis Chitman (Jessica) and Melissa Bankston; and her great grandchildren, Tandre, Carmello, Julius, Josiah, Isiaah, Treevie, Kayvan, Salena and Zaylah. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
